Foods and products to avoid:
Aspartame--This artificial sweetener is one of the more toxic substances on the market. At 86°F aspartame breaks down into formic acid, wood alcohol and formaldehyde. These same three components plus a compound called DKP, which may cause brain tumors, occur when aspartame is ingested. Wood alcohol and formaldehyde are potential carcinogenic substances. Avoid all other sugar substitutes with the exception of Stevia, a natural sweetener derived from the bark and leaves of a South American tree and Agave Nectar which comes from the cacti plants.

Salt--Table salt is 99% pure sodium chloride compared to sea salt, which is 78% sodium chloride plus trace minerals. Table salt consumption causes dehydration, concentrating toxins within tissues, which ultimately causes cells to die.

Coffee--The coffee bean, like the peanut, cleanses the soil of toxic chemicals. According to Kay Munsen, a nutritionist at Iowa State University, there are 393 chemical compounds in coffee. Some of the more harmful ones are:
• Acetone

• Caffeine
• Methylfuran
• Butanol
• Methyl acetate
• Methanol
• Isoprene
• Furan
• Acetaldehyde
• Methylglyoxal
• Ethanol

Caffeine--This seemingly innocuous drug acts as a diuretic to flush minerals out of the body. Caffeine also causes a narrowing of the blood vessels decreasing blood supply to essential organs and other sites in the body. This addictive drug also over stimulates the sympathetic nervous system.

Peanuts--The presence of aflatoxins, known carcinogens, makes this food potentially toxic.

Non-organic red meats and poultry-- Commercially raised beef and poultry are contaminated with antibiotics, steroids and pesticides.

Processed foods--Avoid all irradiated and genetically altered foods. Avoid cooking any food, and even heating water with microwave units. Avoid sautéing foods in oils. Heating the best oil will transform it into a trans-fatty acid. It is best to sauté in water and then add the oil.

Bacon--This traditional American breakfast food contains dimethyl nitrosamine, a cancer causing substance. Nitrate and nitrite free bacon is available.

Barbecuing--Smoking accelerates lipid peroxidation of unsaturated fats in fish and the oxidation of cholesterol in meats. The smoking process creates polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, a hazardous substance. 

White bread--There is very little nutritional value in bleached floer products that have the nutrients milled out. The synthetic vitamins replaced to fortify the paste will not meet the body’s real needs.

White rice--This processed food is a pure starch and devoid of essential nutrients.

Sodas and other carbonated drinks--Besides being loaded with corn syrup, they are very acidic.

Processed lunch meats--These foods are loaded with preservatives, coloring agents and in some cases scraps (bones and body parts) as fillers.

Dried breakfast cereals--The milling process removes most of the essential vitamins, minerals, oils and fiber.

Shellfish--This type of seafood (as opposed to others) has a greater propensity of being contaminated with bacteria

Non-organically grown fruits and vegetables--Commercially grown fruits and vegetables, especially produce from South America, are contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, arsenic and other poisonous substances.

Alcohol--Preliminary studies show that alcohol may affect cancer development at the genetic level by affecting oncogenes at the initiation and developmental stages of cancer. It has been suggested that acetaldehyde, a product of alcohol metabolism, impairs a cell’s natural ability to repair its DNA, resulting in a greater likelihood that mutations causing cancer initiation will occur.

Pork--The internationally known researcher, Dr. Gaston Nassens, discovered that eating pork causes the cells of the blood to take on the characteristics of cancer for an 8 hour period.

Snack foods--Many snack foods (potato chips, cookies, donuts, candies, cakes, etc.) are high in quantities of sugars, artificial colorings, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.  The process of hydrogenation, the addition of hydrogen atoms to fatty-acid chains of polyunsaturates, is designed to increase the fat’s stability and degree of hardness. Combining the hydrogen with polyunsaturates creates trans-fatty acids, which can be extremely toxic. These trans-fatty acids are less digestible and metabolically more dangerous. Trans-fatty acid linkages prevent the formation of bile in the liver from cholesterol with the end result of increased cholesterol levels.

Margarine, solid vegetable shortenings and synthetic fats--(Olestra) These solid trans-fatty acids are difficult for the body to use in its regulatory machinery. The influx of these trans-fatty acids into the lymph and circulatory systems thickens these fluids, increasing the stickiness factor of blood platelets.

These trans-fatty acids do not supply electrons to the body cells. As a result of this loss of bipolarity, the course of growth is disturbed and cancers develop manifesting as tumors. The use of synthetic fats, like Olestra, prevents the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and other valuable nutrients from the intestinal wall. They also are responsible for causing anal leakage.

Fast foods--These toxic, devitalized foods include: hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, pizza, steak sandwiches, French fries, cheese wiz, cream cheese, onion rings, fried foods, milk shakes, hot chocolate, sugary desserts.
